This stunning 2019 Triumph Scrambler 1200 XC was dropped off earlier this week for consignment as part of the original owner's estate sale. This bike was well loved over the past 5 years but only accumulated 1346 miles. The only item we see added is a Garman GPS on the handlebars, Rizoma mirrors, and a small bug deflector over the headlight. We have a confirmation of the original owner performing a 600 mile break in service, our service department has given it a full inspection, and the VIN has been checked, no recalls or updates are due. This is a lovely Scrambler in immaculate shape, it would be the perfect bike for someone who wants to do some adventure riding with a more timeless aesthetic.

We have the factory electronic key and two spares, consignment inspection notes, the owner's booklets, the Triumph satchel, and a clean WA title.

PRESS

Scramblers are hot right now, with well over a dozen models available from five different manufacturers. With rough-and-ready retro styling, the appeal of scramblers–that freewheeling, desert-racing spirit of the ’60s, embodied by the King of Cool himself, Steve McQueen–is hard to deny. Most modern scramblers, however, are street-oriented models that talk the talk more than they walk the walk of off-road capability.

Triumph’s Hinckley-era, Bonneville-based scramblers, starting with the air-cooled, 865cc Scrambler produced from 2006-2016 and continuing with the liquid-cooled, 900cc Street Scrambler, are more suited to pavement than dirt. But that changes with the introduction of the Scrambler 1200. Rather than just a styling exercise built around the larger 1,200cc parallel twin, Triumph created a full-on adventure bike with classic minimalist styling. No windscreen, no bodywork, just a steel tank, a wide handlebar, and a round headlight.

Switchable ABS and traction control enhance rider interaction. Five riding modes – Road, Off-Road, Rain, Sport, and Rider-Configurable – can each be enabled via the XC’s backlit switch cubes to suit the conditions and your riding preference, whatever terrain you’re considering. The torque-assist clutch reduces lever effort (a huge benefit, particularly on longer journeys) to optimize rider comfort. The beautifully integrated new 2nd generation full-color TFT instrument display has two distinctive personalizable design themes that ensure readability in all conditions. There is an all-LED Scrambler 1200 lighting set-up including a front 5-inch headlight (incorporating Daytime Running Lights where market legislation allows), tail-light with attractive diffused opacity detailing, and market-appropriate indicators. Triumph’s keyless ignition system, cruise control, and USB charging socket are all fitted as standard.
