The engine now features a titanium intake valve that enhances the high-revving character of the R6, while also improving durability. The fly-by-wire throttle system has been revised for smoother and more precise response, allowing the rider to easily control the bike's power delivery. Additionally, the R6 is equipped with an advanced electronics package that includes traction control, quick shift system, and a slide control system, all of which work in unison to enhance the bike's performance and handling.
